Lourdes offered a first class service and from the initial enquiry, she knew all the right questions to ask. Delighted with the design of the office. Highly recommend.

The Challenge
Design a calm, contemporary study in a windowless basement room, creating two clearly defined zones for work and reading while ensuring the space felt bright, inviting and suitable for both the client and her granddaughter.
The Solution
I created a focused desk area with practical storage and a separate reading corner with comfortable seating. Because the room lacked natural light, I used soft neutrals, warm wood tones and layered lighting to brighten and lift the atmosphere. Careful organisation ensured both users had space for their belongings, resulting in a flexible, uplifting study that feels far less like a basement and much more like a serene shared workspace.
